According to GB standard, it is used to protect buildings, tall trees and other devices to avoid lightning. A flashover device is installed at the top of the protected object, and it is connected to the underground drainage network with the standard conductor. The nearby thundercloud is attracted to discharge the lightning rod tip, through good grounding and neutralization of thundercloud charge, so that the protected object is protected from lightning.

Use of attention

1. the distance between the independent lightning rod and the protected object should be no less than 5m, so as to avoid the counterattack when lightning strikes the lightning rod. The independent lightning rod shall be equipped with an independent grounding device, and the distance between the grounding conductor and the grounding wire shall not be less than 3m.

2. Lightning arresters shall not be installed on the frame and roof of35kV and below high voltage distribution devices. The lightning rod mounted on the frame should be connected to the grounding network and equipped with a centralized grounding device.

3. the lightning rod should not be installed on the portal frame of transformer.
